Investing.com – Italy: Stock markets ended the session lower on Friday; The decline in the and , sectors contributed to this decline.
At the close in Milan, the index lost 0.04%.
The best performer of the index session was A2A SpA (BIT :), up 2.32%, or 0.03 points, for a closing price of 1.32. In the second place we find Buzzi Unicem (BIT:) which gained 1.78%, or 0.32 points, to close at 18.05. the address Poste Italiane SpA (BIT:) completed this top three position with an increase of 1.77%, or 0.16 points, by the end of the session at 9.45.
UniCredit SpA (BIT:) was the worst performer of the session, losing 1.62%, or 0.22 points, to close at 13.12. David Campari Milano SpA (BIT:) is down 1.45%, or 0.15 points, and ended at 10.22. for this part, Terna Rete Elettrica Nazionale SpA (BIT:) lost 1.08%, or 0.08 points, to close at 7.35.
Declines outnumbered gainers on the Milan Stock Exchange by 204 values to 181 and 36 stable.
On the other hand, the price of crude oil for January delivery fell 2.13%, or 1.66 points, to $76.28 a barrel. Regarding other commodities, Brent crude for delivery in January fell by 1.97%, or 1.68 points, at a price of $83.66 a barrel, while gold for delivery in December rose by 0.53%, or 9.20 points, at a price of $1.00 an ounce.
EUR/USD settled down 0.06%, at 1.04, while EUR/GBP settled down 0.19%, at 0.86.
The US Dollar Index fell 0.03% to 105.94.
