Will the works of Belgian museums also soon be the target of militant environmental groups? This is the question museum directors are asking themselves after the hardening work of recent weeks abroad.

Whether it’s Just Stop Oil, an organization created in February 2022 to fight fossil fuel production, or the Letzte Generation, committed against global warming, these groups have been known to resort to civil disobedience. Young activists have used this style of peaceful protest, which is not new, to make their demands better heard.
