Investing.com – France: Stock markets ended higher on Friday; The growth and, sectors contributed to this increase.
At the close in Paris, the index rose 0.08%, hitting a 6-month high, while the index rose 0.07%.
The best performer of the index session was to add TotalEnergies SE (EPA:) up 1.07%, or 0.62 points, to a closing price of 58.44. In second place we find ArcelorMittal SA (AS:) which gained 0.71%, or 0.18 points, to close at 25.53. the address saffron SA (EPA:) completed the top three with an increase of 0.67%, or 0.78 points, to end the session at 117.22.
Renault The SA Index (EPA:) was the worst performer of the session, losing 1.42%, or 0.49 points, to a closing price of 33.77. WFD Unibail Rodamco NV (AS:) declined 1.12%, or 0.60 points, ending at 52.75. for this part, Pernod Ricard SA (EPA:) lost 0.64%, or 1.20 points, at a closing price of 186.90.
The best performer of the SBF 120 goes to Metropole Television SA (EPA:) which gained 3.08% for a share price of 13.40, feralia (EPA:) up 1.70% to 28.66 f Ipsos (EPA:) which gained 1.68% to close at 54.40.
The worst performing values are Elior Group (EPA) fell 5.85% to 2.67 at the close, Enough energy (EPA:) which lost 4.13% to 12.42 f Valneva (EPA:), fell by 4.11%, closing at 6.53.
The number of advancers outnumbered the decliners on the Paris Stock Exchange by 261 values at 260 and 101 stable.
Shares of TotalEnergies SE (EPA:) rose to a new high, after gaining 1.07%, or 0.62 points, at 58.44. Shares of Safran SA (EPA:) rose to a 52-week high, after gaining 0.67%, or 0.78 points, at 117.22. Shares of Ipsos (EPA:) advanced to an all-time high thanks to an increase of 1.68%, or 0.90 points, at 54.40.
The index, which measures the implied volatility of options on the CAC 40 index, remained flat at 0.00%, reaching 18.96, a new 52-week high.
On the other hand, gold for December delivery rose 0.44%, or 7.60 points, to reach $1.00 an ounce. With regard to other commodities, the price of crude oil for January delivery decreased by 1.42%, or 1.11 points, at a price of $76.83 a barrel, while Brent crude for January delivery lost 1.37%, or 1.17 points, at a price of $84.17 a barrel.
The EUR/USD pair remained unchanged by 0.04%, at 1.04, while the EUR/GBP was down 0.13%, at 0.86.
The US Dollar Index fell 0.04% to 105.92.
