Investing.com – France: Stock markets ended the session higher on Thursday; The growth and, sectors contributed to this increase.
At the close in Paris, the index rose 0.42% to hit a 6-month high, while the index rose 0.49%.
The best performance of the index session was attributed to WFD Unibail Rodamco NV (AS:) stock, up 3.67%, or 1.89 points, to a closing price of 53.35. The worst performing values are Rexel (EPA:) down 0.96% to 18.52 at the close, Bureau Veritas SA (EPA:) down 0.93% to 25.68 and Sweetec SA (EPA: ), fell by 0.81%, closing at 159.65.
Advances outnumbered decliners on the Paris Stock Exchange by 344 values at 196 and 93 stable.
The index, which measures the implied volatility of options on the CAC 40 index, remained flat at 0.00%, reaching 18.96, a new 52-week high.
On the other hand, gold for December delivery rose 0.57%, or 9.90 points, to reach $1.00 an ounce. As for other commodities, the price of crude oil for January delivery increased by 0.32%, or 0.25 points, at $78.19 a barrel, while the price of Brent crude for January delivery increased by 0.02%, or 0.02 points, at $85.43 a barrel.
The EUR/USD pair remained unchanged by 0.13%, at 1.04, while the EUR/GBP was down 0.42%, at 0.86.
The US Dollar Index fell 0.20% to 105.75.
