Investing.com – Morocco: Stock markets ended higher on Wednesday; The growth and, sectors contributed to this increase.
And at the close in Casablanca, the index was up 0.38%.
The best performer of the index session is attributed to Societe d’Exploitation des Ports SA (CSE:) up 3.41%, or 7.00 points, at a closing price of 212.00. In second place we find Ste Nationale de Siderurgie SA (CSE:) which gained 2.89%, or 16.00 points, to close at 569.00. the address Delta Holding (CSE:) completed this top three position, up 2.53%, or 0.58 points, to end the session at 23.48.
Delattre raised (CSE:) was the worst performer of the session as it lost 5.98%, or 2.37 points, from a closing price of 37.27. North Stockvis (CSE:) is down 3.77%, or 0.45 pips, and ending at 11.50. For its part, Disty Technologies SA (CSE:) lost 3.62%, or 6.85 points, to close at 182.15.
The number of advancing stocks outnumbered the declining stocks on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 20 values, at 13 and 7.
Shares of Delattre lev (CSE::) fell to a 52-week low, after falling 5.98%, or 2.37 points, to a price of 37.27.
On the other hand, the price of crude oil for January delivery fell 4.03%, or 3.26 points, to $77.69 a barrel. Regarding other commodities, Brent crude for delivery in January fell by 3.88%, or 3.43 points, at $84.93 a barrel, while gold for delivery in December rose by 0.27%, or 4.65 points, at $1.00 an ounce.
The EUR/MDD rose 0.26% to 11.10, while the USD/MDD fell 0.34% to 10.71.
The US Dollar Index fell 0.73% to 106.33.
