The country will be idle on Wednesday, November 9th. because of, Connection The socialist and Christian trade unions called for a general strike. The liberal trade union does not call its activists to strike, but it will take part here and there in the work carried out in the companies.
Faced with a social situation deemed deeply troubling, the two major trade unions are mobilizing their members to advocate in particular for a cap on energy prices and against a wage standard. Traders and freelancers also announced their participation.
Among the other topics that the trade unions want to mention for good memories of the government, we also find an increase in social benefits, taxation of all excess profits (not just those of companies in the energy sector), better compensation for commuting etc.
