Investing.com – United States: Stock markets ended higher on Tuesday; The growth and, sectors contributed to this increase.
At the close on the New York Stock Exchange, the index rose by 1.18%, hitting the highest level in 3 months, while the index rose 1.36%, and the index traded at an increase of 1.36%.
The best performer of the index session is attributed to Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:) up 3.04%, or 0.88 points, to a closing price of 29.82. In second place, we find Salesforce Inc (NYSE: which gained 3.04%, or 4.40 points, to close at 149.25. Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc (NASDAQ:) completes these top three positions, up 2.96%, or 1.20 points, to end the session at 41.79.
Walt Disney (NYSE:) was the worst performer of the session, losing 1.40%, or 1.37 points, from a closing price of 96.21. Amgen Inc. (NASDAQ:) is down 0.39%, or 1.11 points, ending at 287.05. for this part, Boeing (NYSE:) lost 0.25%, or 0.44 points, to a closing price of 172.50.

The worst performing values are Dollar Tree Inc. (NASDAQ: down 7.79%, closing at 152.37, Rollins Corporation (NYSE: which lost 6.14%, to 39.53 f Medtronic PLC (NYSE: ), fell 5.30%, closing at 77.93.
The best performer of the NASDAQ Composite goes to Cosmos Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:) which gained 86.93% at 0.33, Palisade Bio Inc (NASDAQ::) up 81.08% to 4.02 and Motorsport Gaming US LLC (NASDAQ: which gained 51.11%, closing at 6.80.
The worst performers were Eqonex Ltd (NASDAQ:) which fell 32.81% to 0.14 at the close, WiSA Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:) which lost 21.56% to 0.20 and Acquisition of AGBA Ltd (NASDAQ:) , fell 22.94% to close at 4.87.
Advances outnumbered decliners on the NYSE by 2,343 values at 760 and 110 flat; In the Nasdaq index, it recorded an increase of 2,260 and a decrease of 1,540, and 232 remained the same.
Shares of Medtronic PLC (NYSE::) fell to a 52-week low, after falling 5.30%, or 4.36 points, to a price of 77.93. Shares of Eqonex Ltd (NASDAQ::) fell to an all-time low, after falling 32.81%, or 0.07 points, to a price of 0.14. Shares of WiSA Technologies Inc (NASDAQ::) fell to an all-time low, after falling 21.56%, or 0.05 points, to a price of 0.20.
The index, which measures the implied volatility of S&P 500 options, fell 4.79% to 21.29, a new 3-month low.
On the other hand, gold for December delivery rose 0.07%, or 1.15 points, to reach $1.00 an ounce. As for other commodities, crude oil for January delivery rose 1.40%, or 1.12 points, to $81.16 a barrel, while Brent crude for January delivery rose 1.20%, or 1.05 points, at $88.50 a barrel.
EUR/USD rose 0.62% to 1.03, while USD/JPY fell 0.65% to 141.20.
The US Dollar Index fell 0.63% to 107.05.
