7 months ago, on April 22, 2022, the National Council of Central Africa passed a law legalizing the use of cryptocurrencies in the country. Bitcoin became an official currency, along with the CFA franc, and in July 2022 the government launched the Sango project, its own digital currency, which is supposed to radically transform the economy.
