Hubert Lenoir leads the ADISQ nominations

Hubert Lenoir is in the running for Male Performer, Writer or Composer, Video, International Influence and International Collaboration of the Year (with Bonnie Banane, France).

The musician from Beauport, a suburb of Quebec, also has two nominations for his album IMAGE BY IPSE : direct music (Alternative Album of the Year, Critics’ Choice). He and his team also got their hands on four technical trophies at the Industry Gala, the first of three ceremonies dedicated to November’s Félix Awards.

Lisa Leblanc, who was a finalist for this year’s Polaris Awards with Hubert Lenoir, is second in the running for the Félix Awards with six nominations, including two for her album chic disco (Critics’ Choice, Pop Album of the Year).

The categories author or composer, actress, song (Why today) and record performance of the year complete the picture.

Lisa LeBlanc is nominated in five artistic and one technical category at this year’s Felix Awards.

Les Louanges, Vincent Vallières and Jean-Michel Blais also have six nominations, including three in artistic categories. The group Les Cowboys Fringants, Ariane Moffatt and Patrice Michaud are not left out and are mentioned in five lists.

Guylaine Tanguay and Souldia cross swords for album of the year

In the first Album of the Year category (popular success) we find Les Cowboys Fringants (for their film’s original soundtrack America is crying), Guylaine Tanguay (Ginette my way) and Jean-Michel Blais (Aubades).

Hip-hop gets almost a third of the nominations for this trophy, with Souldia albums (Discus of Art), by Jay Scott (His greatest hits) and lost (Lostalgik).

Étienne Coppée and Ariane Roy among the revelations of 2022

Five emerging artists are nominated in the Newcomer of the Year category: Étienne Coppée, Ariane Roy, Natasha Kanapé, La Zarra and Jay Scøtt.

Among the artists of 2022 we find in particular Roxane Bureau, Sarahmée, Klô Pelgag, Corneille, Marc Dupré and Ludovick Bourgeois.

2Frères, Bon Enfant, Les Cowboys Fringants, Les Trois Accords and Salebarbes compete for the Trophy for Group or Duo of the Year.

The Félix Awards will be presented at three ceremonies this year. On November 2nd the Industry Gala will take place, bringing together the technical trophies as well as the trophies for programs and record companies.

A first selection of artistic awards will be presented on the same day at the Premier Gala of theADISQpresented on Télé-Québec and moderated by Pierre Lapointe.

Louis-José Houde is again at the helm of the ADISQ Gala, which will take place on November 6th and will be broadcast on ICI Télé.
