In the heart of the celebrations, around 10 p.m., a 27-year-old man stabbed three people in a room on Petit rang Saint-François.

The suspect in that case, Jimmy-Lee Loder, was arrested and questioned by investigators.

He then turned on the bride and her father and stabbed the first in the back and the second in the chest before fleeing.
The man was eventually found and captured by Tactical Intervention Group (GTI) around 2 a.m. “in a wooded area where he was hiding,” Sergeant Tremblay said.
The provincial police were unable to come up with what charges might be brought against Jimmy-Lee Loder.
