While affirming that he didn’t mean to “judge” gunsmith Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, the actor pointed the finger at her and also mentioned assistant director Dave Halls, who handed him the gun just before the shot was fired.

“Someone put a live bullet in the gun and that person should have used their judgment,” he said.

“It Was the Job” by Hannah Gutierrez-Reed. “His job was to examine and blank the ammunition, and there shouldn’t have been any live ammunition on set,” he said.

“There are two people who didn’t do what they had to do,” he added.

“I’m not here to say I want her to go to jail or her life to be hell. I don’t want that, but I want everyone to know that it’s the two people who are responsible for what happened.”

Alec Baldwin, who is the subject of several civil lawsuits, including one brought by Halyna Hutchins’ family, has always said he was assured his gun was harmless and claims he never pulled the trigger at the time of the fatal shot.

Hannah Gutierrez-Reed sued the film’s ammunition supplier, accusing them of leaving live ammunition between the blanks.

After Alec Baldwin’s last interview, Mr.me Gutierrez-Reed and Mr. Halls told CNN the actor is trying to clear himself of liability.
