When asked how long she’s known this beautiful love, Yama Laurent immediately replies while realizing something. “I’ve had my sir since August 2021. Ah! In a few days it will be one year, August 11th!” We conducted the interview a few days before this anniversary.

Yama Laurent and his beloved have been living together since January. A first for her? “Yes, and this is the first time in my life that I’ve even met a gentleman,” admits the singer. Yama Laurent’s lover, of Haitian origin, is the father of a five-year-old girl who lives in the Dominican Republic.
