Here are the Heinekicks: shoes whose soles are filled with Heineken beer

Promotional innovation in beer is not new.

The older ones will no doubt remember Miller’s bottle opener and the interactive adventures of Miville and Legrand for the Molson Grand Nord.

But in recent years, due to alcohol advertising restrictions in many countries, let’s say, the concepts of beer bars have been less fragmented.

Luckily, to reverse this trend, really creative creatives came up with the idea (we don’t know why) to invent shoes containing the new Heineken Silver beer.

The famous Dutch brand has teamed up with shoe designer Dominic Ciambone, who has a career as ‘The Shoe Surgeon’, to create the Heinekicks.

The Heinekicks highlight the brand’s iconic colors (green, red and white) as well as the famous star logo.

Most importantly, their translucent soles are filled with Heineken Silver beer in a unique and secret process.

Whoever wears them can therefore go for a beer, an apparently pleasant and unique feeling.

“Partnering with Heineken for their new beer was a fun challenge. We both share a passion for innovation and pushing boundaries and have created a design that reflects this. The shoe not only embodies the energy of Heineken Silver, it literally carries it. I can’t say I’ve ever designed a shoe with real ale before,” Ciambone said.

However, in order to get these magnificent creations, you need to make a lot of effort.

You must first move to Singapore and hope to be in the right place at the right time to buy one of the 32 pairs that will be launched.

The first seven would also be available by the end of the year, at an undisclosed price.

As a reason to go to Singapore, you can hardly do better than that.
