During a rare interview with ITV, singer Britney Spears’ ex-husband Kevin Federline revealed several details about Spears’ relationship with their children, 16-year-old Sean Preston and 15-year-old Jayden. Just hours later, on Instagram, Britney took to her fans to dot the i.

Federline mentioned that her sons, who are now teenagers, wanted to distance themselves from their mother. He added that seeing her mother pose nude on Instagram has been particularly difficult for her, in part because Britney Spears is a superstar and the two teenagers are now in high school and struggling with their reputations and image that she radiates, are certainly aware.
Then Kevin Federline mentioned that Sean Preston and Jayden wanted to distance themselves from their mother and even decided not to attend her wedding, which was on April 9. They made the decision not to go to his wedding,” Federline said.
Since her “liberation,” the singer has been widely talked about and expressed through her Instagram account. It’s obvious that Britney Spears is celebrating this newfound freedom in any way she can. Her two boys wouldn’t like that, though.
“I try to explain to them, ‘Listen, maybe it’s just another way she’s trying to express herself. But that doesn’t change the fact of what it does to them. It’s tough. I can’t imagine what it’s like to be a teenager and have to go to high school…” Kevin added.

Ever since Britney Spears’ abusive guardianship was lifted, Kevin Federline has remained pretty quiet about his opinions and relationship with the pop star. Despite the singer coming to light with several unfair situations she has been through over the past 13 years, partly under the control of her father Jamie Spears, Kevin Federline mentions his support for his former stepfather in an interview with ITV:
“I really want Jamie Spears to come back into the boys’ lives, especially if that’s what the boys want,” he said. “I have no negative feelings towards Jamie Spears. People make mistakes… I feel sorry for him. I feel like he’s been put to the test,” he added.
Keep in mind that Kevin Federline and Britney Spears have been divorced since 2006, and Britney Federline has to pay generous child support of up to $35,000 a month until her sons turn 18.
A fast answer
In a post on her August 6 Instagram account, Britney Spears responded to her ex-husband’s words:
“It saddens me to learn that my ex-husband has decided to speak up about the relationship between me and my children… As we all know, raising teenagers is never easy for anyone. It worries me the reason is based on my Instagram… it was LONG before Instagram… I gave them my all. One word: HURT… I’ll say it… My mother said to me “You should GIVE her to her father”. I share this because I can. Have a nice day friends!!!” she said, visibly hurt.
A little later, the singer wrote another message:
“In addition to what I said […] Let’s remember that the trauma and insults that come with fame and this industry doesn’t just affect me, it affects my kids too!!! I’m only human trying my best… Honestly I’d love to share my TWO PENS!!!! I want the Federlines to watch the video… [Elle fait référence à ses égoportraits et aux vidéos où elle est dénudée] Other artists did it much worse when their kids were very young!!!! She launched before adding that she was “controlled and monitored” under his tutelage for “nearly 15 years.”
“I needed permission to take Tylenol! I should be doing WAY worse than just lying topless on the beach!! I’m not surprised that, like my family, [Kevin Federline] will do it too [Elle fait référence à l’entrevue télévisée]”, she added.
Britney Spears’ current husband Sam Asghari, 28, also took the time to write a message for Kevin Federline and post it on his Instagram account:
“His statement about child distancing has no validity. Furthermore, it is irresponsible to make this statement public,” he said. “The boys are very smart and they’ll be 18 soon, so they’ll be able to make their own decisions and maybe eventually realize that the ‘hard’ part was having a role model, a father who’s been there for over 15 hasn’t worked much for years. .”
“The train [Il fait référence à la pension alimentaire versée par Britney Spears] of Kevin will end soon, which likely explains the timing of these hurtful comments,” he added. “I don’t know him personally and I have nothing against him except that he chose to defame my wife. His true side was shown by approving cruel guardianship [qui a duré] 13 years […] and his loyalty to Jamie also shows his approval at the time of his conception,” he added.
“Keep my wife’s name out of your mouth,” he concluded, quoting one Will Smith who wasn’t exactly up to his game…
Since the release of Kevin Federline’s statements, several international stars have come to defend Britney Spears, including Paris Hilton and Selma Blair.
“Love you my angel. I’m sorry you’re going through this. Sending you lots of love and all my support!” wrote the Hilton heiress.
