US police have announced they have arrested a man suspected of shooting one of Lady Gaga’s associates to remove the dogs from the star, four months after he was released in error.

Investigators with the Los Angeles Police Department and the US Marshals, the agency responsible for tracking fugitives, said in a statement Wednesday they located James Howard Jackson in Palmdale, an hour from Los Angeles, California, “without incident.” arrested.
The 19-year-old was released on April 6 after an administrative error, and marshals had offered a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to his arrest.
He is suspected of having been part of the gang of three accused of masterminding this violent kidnapping and specifically of shooting dead Lady Gaga’s employee Ryan Fischer, who killed the singer’s three French bulldogs in Hollywood in February 2021 executed.
James Howard Jackson’s arrest comes as one of the group’s two other suspects, 20-year-old Jaylin Keyshawn White, was sentenced to four years in Los Angeles after pleading guilty to robbery.
CCTV footage taken at the time of the attack showed two men getting out of a car near Mr Fischer before shooting him in the chest.
The people then grabbed two of the dogs, Koji and Gustav, and fled, leaving the clerk bleeding on the ground.
The third dog, Miss Asia, had escaped before returning to snuggle up to her walker.

A woman brought her back and said she found her tied to a post before she was arrested in turn. According to police, she had a relationship with the father of one of the attackers and was responsible for collecting the reward on his behalf.
The three suspects were eventually charged with attempted murder and robbery in April 2021.
