Immediate boarding. Direction: Tokyo, where the road of five assassins aboard the world’s fastest train crosses in a particularly brutal manner. Only one thing is for sure…they won’t all make it to the terminus alive.

A very choppy train ride for Brad Pitt.

Brad Pitt becomes the focus of fast train, who bestowed her traits on -Ladybug (a codename, of course), a legendary unlucky killer. When he accepts a new job at short notice, it quickly becomes clear to him that the promised routine assignment will take on unimagined proportions.

Because his path is punctuated by dangerous stunts, breathtaking fights, confusing twists and turns and many hilarious gags, with black humor being an integral part of the plot.

Of course, realism is always thrown in fast train. But we’re happy to embrace it in the name of entertainment, and are instantly charmed by David Leitch’s muscular and earthy proposal.

Fun Fact: The filmmaker learned his skills as a stuntman in mega-productions such as blade, 300, X-Men Origins: Wolverine and other –fight club before slipping behind the camera. And it seems. Because he shows a spectacular mastery of action scenes and an obvious feeling for their staging.

It exudes from its most daring sequences, where the hemoglobin squirts in a generous and graphic way, alongside a strong Tarantino-like flavor (not at all unpleasant). His extremism is a joy to behold, as is his boldness and boldness. For sensitive hearts – and fragile stomachs – a word of caution is in order though. Consider yourself knowledgeable.

And if fast train holds the rails throughout his 120 minutes, thanks largely to his overtly invested spread. Brad Pitt very subtly leads with all his bonhomie and legendary charisma, as does a deliciously unconventional Aaron Taylor-Johnson and a Brian Tyree Henry who excels in a role at the antipodes of what we’re used to.

Also worthy of a special mention is the frantic soundtrack, replete with Japanese versions of Survive (Bee Gees) or even Endure for a hero (Bonnie Tyler) Absolutely exhilarating.

fast train is therefore a fierce, complete and utterly enthralling entertainment. We come out pumped up…but not wanting to take the train home.
