Marvel movies have dominated the box office around the world for the last few years, Avengers: Endgame of 2019 briefly became the highest-grossing film of all time at over $2.79 billion.

“I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind looking ahead a little,” studio president Kevin Feige asked the assembled die-hard superhero fans toward the end of a presentation in San Diego.

Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars will hit theaters in 2025, he then announced.

The films will be consistent with Avengers: Endgamewhich created an unprecedented media frenzy by merging the storylines of all previously released Marvel films.

The two new titles avenger will conclude the upcoming saga, which consists of more than a dozen interconnected films and television series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Feige said.

The recent Marvel franchise explored the concept of the “multiverse,” popularized by superhero comics, in which infinite universes — and infinite versions of each hero and villain — coexist.

The Marvel presentation capped the biggest day of Comic-Con, held in a 6,000-seat venue.

It ended with the first trailer of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever — a sequel to the first comic book adaptation to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Picture — which is set to premiere on November 11.

Director Ryan Coogler, who took the stage in San Diego with a motley crew of African drummers and dancers, paid a moving tribute to the star of the first film, the “Fire, Great Chadwick Boseman.”

Boseman died of cancer in 2020 and his role will not be reprized by another actor in the new film.

“I promise you, I can feel his hand on me now,” Coogler said.

“Chad is no longer with us physically, but his spirit, his passion, his genius, his pride in his culture and the impact he had on this industry will be felt forever,” he noted.

Other films Disney announced on Saturday include, among others thunderbolts and Fantastic Fourexpected 2024.

Mr. Feige also announced this blade would be finished in November 2023 and that the new title Captain America: New World Order would come in May 2024.
