Linda Evangelista: Her big comeback after being disfigured by cosmetic surgery

Linda Evangelista has posed for a fashion shoot for the first time since she was “brutally disfigured” by a cosmetic procedure more than five years ago.

In September 2021, the model revealed on Instagram that she was suing execs at Zeltiq Aesthetics, claiming she was “permanently deformed” after the fat loss procedure. CoolSculpting. She returned to public life soon after and was recently asked to take part in a campaign to celebrate the 25the Anniversary of the legendary Fendi handbag, the Baguette.

Photographed by Steven Meisel, we spot her in a gray top and carrying two silver sequined handbags. She also wears rose-colored glasses and three satin caps stacked on top of each other. “On September 9th, 2022 @Fendi will hold a special runway show in New York to celebrate the 25the Anniversary of the #FendiBaguette designed by @silviaventurinifendi and the two years since @mrkimjones joined the Maison as artistic director of the couture and womenswear house,” wrote the 57-year-old top in the caption.

In the comments, many of the star’s friends praised the campaign.

“Praise be to the Lord! Heaven has just opened up. The natural order is restored. Again, again, again. Long live YOU @lindaevangelista,” Selma Blair commented, while Carla Bruni added, “You are so beautiful my dear @lindaevangelista.”

Coco Rocha is also enthusiastic: “Yes! We’d love to see that, Linda.”

Last Tuesday, Linda Evangelista took to social media to announce that she had settled her legal dispute with Zeltiq Aesthetics. “Glad to have the CoolSculpting case settled,” she wrote on Instagram. I look forward to the next chapter of my life with my friends and family and happy to put this matter behind me. I am truly grateful for the support I have received from those who have reached out to me.”

Linda Evangelista was diagnosed with Paradoxical Fatty Hyperplasia, a rare complication of CoolSculpting that takes its name from the unexpected and paradoxical result of an overgrowth (hyperplasia) of adipose tissue after the procedure.
