an exclusive version dubbed by Max Verstappen himself

When he’s not out on the F1 tracks in his monoposto, Max Verstappen poses next to the new Honda e special series. The small Japanese electric city car is actually available in a new version simply called the Honda e Limited Edition. And when Honda says Limited, it really is Limited: only fifty copies are planned for the whole of Europe!

It is therefore a real collector’s item that the Japanese manufacturer will be launching in early July 2022. To stand out from its larger-series-produced congeners, the Honda e Limited Edition wears an exclusive body color called Premium Crystal Red. Based on the top-of-the-line Advance finish, the car also receives a black treatment on some of its elements, such as the rear-view cameras, the side skirts or even the bumpers.

Max Verstappen says she’s ‘enchanting’

Specific black plaques are also applied to the front and rear of this Honda e Limited Edition. And the city car stands on black 17-inch alloy wheels. The passenger compartment does not undergo any special modification. Honda simply assures that this edition aims to “provide the most exclusive Honda e-experience yet”. Max Verstappen describes the car like this:

The Honda e Limited Edition is simply gorgeous. It’s stylish, its design is compact and it’s fun to drive. It is an excellent electric car for the city.
