Stages, Schedule, Transportation, Prohibited Items: Here’s the FEQ Festival Visitor’s Guide

How to get there? When do I have to appear at the locations? Which items are allowed or forbidden? After two years without a summer party, it’s understandable, dear festival-goers, that you’re a bit rusty. Before you start taking notes, here’s a guide to refresh your memory.

Quebec Summer Festival

  • Open doors: 6 p.m
  • Start of shows: 19 o’clock
  • Entrances (2): Sacrificial Cross, Cap-Blanc
  • Passes are required for all and strollers are prohibited for the Rage Against The Machine concert


  • Open doors: 17 o’clock (Week), 4 p.m (Saturdays and Sundays)
  • Start of shows: 5:50 p.m (Week), 5:15 p.m (Sat and Sun)
  • Entrance (1): access via a waiting area starting at the corner of streets D’Artigny and Jacques-Parizeau.
  • For the SUM 41 concert, ID is required for everyone and strollers are prohibited


  • Open doors: 3 pm.
  • Start of shows: 6 p.m
  • Entrance: Via Honoré-Mercier, in front of the Tourny fountain
  • Youth series (Sat. and Sun.): 10 a.m. to 1 p.m Animation, 11 clock shows


  • Doors open: 10:30 p.m
  • Start of shows: 11:30 p.m
  • DJ set: 1am to 2am


  • Full: 125,000 passes sold and no day passes are sold.


  • Honoré-Mercier: weekdays from 4:30 p.m. to midnight, Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m
  • Grande Allée, between rue de la Chevrotière and rue d’Auteuil: weekdays from 6pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm

  • Fountains and refreshment points at all locations
  • Crinkle or rigid plastic bottles allowed.
  • Glass or metal containers prohibited.


  • Alcohol, cannabis and its derivatives, cans, portable chairs, umbrellas, inflatables, coolers
  • Complete list of allowed and forbidden items


  • $5. Obtainable at the two entrances to the levels, in the Parc de la Francophonie and in the Armory

  • Walk : from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.mevery ten minutes
  • 410: Lebourgneuf, from the Hydro-Québec car park (rue de Celles)
  • 420: Sainte-Foy: from the Aquarium car park (Avenue des Hôtels)
  • 430: Charlesbourg: from the car park of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Animals, stop Atrium/4e Avenue Ouest
  • 450: Beauport: from the Promenades Beauport car park (rue du Carrefour)
  • To return : out 9:30 p.min the uphill zones at René-Lévesque Boulevard East
