Alexandre Burrows has been touring the Quebec sports media for the past few hours. The reason? Talk about his two former line partners and his former Vancouver Canucks goaltender. Recall : Henrik Sedin, Daniel Sedin and Roberto Luongo are part of the Class of 2022 who will be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame later this year.
As you can imagine these aren’t the comments on the sedin twins or on Bobby Lu which caught my attention during the many passages of Burrows…
Burrows wasn’t asked much about the Canadian on 91.9 Sports radio yesterday morning. Richard Labbe, Tomorrow’s host of the weekonly asked him one thing Is correct Question at the very end of his interview: Who will Canadians vote for on July 7th?
Burrows replied with a laugh that it will be Wright, Slafkovsky or Cooley, which he said earlier in June. It’s not Burrows’ department and honestly I’d rather see him answer that way than refuse to answer too formally.
Last night Burrows was in sports enthusiasts (98.5 FM) and after talking about Sedin and Luongo he specifically mentioned that he loved working with Martin St-Louis, that he was great vibrationsthat he communicated well with the players and his assistants and quickly learned how to behave as a player Coach in the pee the national league.

Burrows also said he’s happy for Luke Richardson, who has been named head coach of the Chicago Blackhawks, but admitted he’s sad not to have him by his side behind the Canada bench. Burrows said he wasn’t aware of the Canadians’ plan to replace Richardson, but he admitted it was logical to think the new St. Louis assistant coach would not do so will come out Not pee… that he has some experience (of coaching?).
According to Burrows, Martin St-Louis most likely has some surprising ideas that come out of the box.
Keep in mind that Marc-André Perreault expects a left field nomination in this case.
On Monday, I revealed that the name Francis Bouillon was at the top of the Habs list. Has his lack of experience in the coaching will play against him? Is he really interested in leaving development to find himself behind the bench of an NHL team?
Burrows also mentioned that the boys arrived at camp unprepared and unrested in September 2021. He expects the team to be better prepared for the next camp after a (too) long summer.
It should be noted that Burrows also confided in Jessica Lapinski (Journal de Montréal) that he believes the candidates’ experience and background will be taken into account, although he will not be part of the decision-making panel at the time to replace Luke Richardson .

“It will take someone who has the same philosophy as Martin, the same vision for our group of defenders. We have several young people knocking on the door. He’s going to be busy, but I can’t wait to find out who it is and work with him or her. – Alex Burrows at JDM
No, Burrows doesn’t sound like someone who won’t be back next year.
Keep in mind the Canadian could also hire two new assistant coaches, including one who would watch games from the heights of Bell Center rather than behind the bench. A bit like Clément Jodoin in his final season in Montreal…
– Serious injuries and long rehabilitation for Anthony Duclair.
Hearing that Anthony Duclair is considering possible surgery for an Achilles tendon injury that would obviously take months to recover. After a career-high 31-goal season. hard news.@TSNHocky @TheAthletic

She is also no longer listed. FAA and Shapo are still in the top 15 in the world. On the other hand, watch out, she’s coming.
