New week, new free game to collect. This iconic action/adventure game can now be purchased without spending a penny.

We’re starting the last week of big promotions on the GOG website. As has been the case for the past 3 weeks, the American site is offering its users 2 games a week as part of their massive summer sale.

After this excellent adventure game with an apocalyptic atmosphere, this time GOG offers a cult game in the action/adventure genre since it has sold more than 2 million copies: it is flashback.

Free Flashback, here’s how to get it back

Originally released in 1992, flashback is a small French nugget developed by Paul Cuisset. Very innovative for its time flashback is among the first games to benefit from the technology of motion absorption for more realistic animations, sets made entirely by hand, as well as a well-crafted scenario worthy of a sci-fi movie. The game was a commercial success and was then listed in the Guinness World Records how the best-selling French game of all time.

Flashback: Remastered Edition was released on June 7, 2018 for Nintendo Switch, November 20, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and November 29, 2018 for Windows. flashback 2 was announced by Microids studio in May 2021. The game is still in development. and will be released this year for PC and consoles.
