TikTok star Cooper Noriega has died aged just 19. Friends and family reacted to the tragedy on social media.
On June 9, 2022, Cooper was found unresponsive in his car in a mall parking lot in Los Angeles, the city where he resided. A few days after this tragedy, the cause of death has not yet been determined.
Cooper, who has always been open about his drug use struggles and mental health struggles, shared an eerily prescient video just hours earlier.
On his TikTok account, which has amassed more than 2.8 million subscribers, the young man posted a short video of himself, which read, “Who else feels like dying super young?”
Cooper was hugely popular on the platform, and his circle of friends included several other well-known TikTok personalities. Many have taken to social media to express their infinite sadness.
Here are some testimonials
Cooper’s BFF Nessa shared a carousel of sweet moments with her BFF. Underneath the pictures, she shared her dismay, saying: “A part of me died with you.”
Josh, who considered Cooper his brother, also gave a touching testimony, underscoring the fact that his friend always cared about others. Cooper was on Josh’s podcast, The BFF Podcast, just days before his death.
The young woman paid tribute to her boyfriend during a concert. “Check out your friends,” she told her fans between sobs.
The TikTokers’ favorite photographer shared that he recently had a lengthy chat with Cooper. He just started a discord aimed at helping others with their mental health, a project that Bryant says was very close to his heart.
After their split, Sab and Cooper had gotten along very well. She deleted all her photos without Cooper from her Instagram to pay tribute to him.
Another very good friend of Cooper’s, Jaden, shared some videos with him, writing under the carousel, “Life without you ain’t life it’s something I gotta do ’til I see you again.”
And the list goes on. Sending lots of love to Cooper’s friends and family.
