Amber Heard stands by “every word” of her allegations against Johnny Depp

American actress Amber Heard says she stands by “every word” on her domestic violence charges against Johnny Depp, despite recently losing a US defamation lawsuit against her ex-husband.

“Until the day I die, I will keep every word of my testimony,” she affirmed in an interview excerpt aired by the NBC channel on Tuesday. This great interview, his first since the trial ended on June 1st, will be fully available on Friday.

However, she didn’t back down on her mistakes, admitting to “having said and done horrible things during our relationship.”

“It was very, very toxic, we were horrible to each other,” she said, claiming, “I’ve made a lot of mistakes, but I’ve always told the truth.”

She made two appearances at the top and opened up about the amount of violence she suffered during her relationship with Johnny Depp between 2011 and 2016. The two actors married in 2015 and eventually divorced in 2017.

Johnny Depp sued his ex-wife for defamation, who described herself in one of the columns published Washington Post in 2018 as “a public figure representing domestic violence,” without naming her ex-husband.

“Every day I would walk by people lined up three, four, sometimes six blocks with ‘witch at the stake,’ ‘death amber,’ signs,” she said. “It’s the most humiliating and terrifying thing I’ve ever experienced.”

When the two ex-spouses accused each other of being responsible for the violence within their couple, Amber Heard affirmed that she “never started it”.

“I answered them,” she said. “When you live in violence and it becomes normal, as I have witnessed, you have to adapt.”
