The new game from Team Ninja
Team Ninja stuck their heads out at the Xbox and Bethesda conferences to introduce their new game Wo Long: The Fallen Dynastythis as yet unreleased license appears to have many similarities to the studio’s previous software, which is excellent nioh. Instead of sending us to Japan, this time Team Ninja chooses the Middle Kingdom and takes place in the heart of feudal China.
Heading for a new Souls like?
The exact genre of this new game is not yet known, the sword-focused fighting style is said to be heavily inspired by Chinese martial arts. The short trailer shared by Team Ninja allows us to know more about the universe of the game that will face us both men and wild demons from Chinese folklore. When you see these images, you can’t help but think of Nioh, Team Ninja’s previous franchise.
A more ambiguous relationship when you know the names associated with this project: Fumihiko Yasuda and Masaaki Yamagiwa. The two men respectively produced Nioh and bloodborne. It is therefore easy to imagine that this new license goes in the same direction. To discover Wo Long you will have to wait until early 2023. The game will be released on PC and Xbox and will be available in Game Pass as soon as it is released.
