Gaming News Quantic Dream and Sony Alumni Present As Dusk Falls Narrative Game at Xbox Bethesda Conference
Announced in July 2020, As Dusk Falls is the first project from Interior/Night studios, formed by former Quantic Dream and Sony employees. We haven’t had any news on this title for a while, but the Xbox Bethesda conference has just brought it back to the fore, and the least we can say is that its narrative and theme are heralded like a breath of fresh air .
In this story that explores family relationships, resilience, and sacrifice, the player controls the destiny of multiple characters, each with their flaws, aspirations, and daily lives. Eight years in the making, the work of the team led by Caroline Marchal, CEO and Creative Director at Interior/Night, aims to unite players from all walks of life in a single adventure. Of course, the narrative game requires, it will be a question of choices and modular events, in the sense of the productions of Quantic Dream or more recently of a title like The Quarry.
Bring a virtual world to life
To create the world of As Dusk Falls, the developers brought in professional actors and embarked on an amazing artistic direction. It all started in 1998 in a small town in Arizona. A heist goes awry and the player finds himself in the middle of a family feud involving not one but two families. It will therefore be necessary to control each individual’s temperament and make difficult decisions, torn between survival and protecting loved ones. Da Dusk Fall promises to be a refreshing experience that has the good idea of being playable up to 8 in co-op! All you have to do is use your phone or tablet (with a special application) to vote with or against your friends.
With its amazing universe and multiple conclusions, As Dusk Fall appears in a very short time, as it is expected on July 16 on Xbox Series X, Steam and Windows PC. And like most of the games featured at the conference, it will be available on Xbox Game Pass as soon as it releases!
