A Forza Motorsport is coming in 2023 and will be revealed on video!

Forget your references to old versions of Forza Motorsport, Turn 10 Studios has developed the new generation, scheduled for spring 2023, and it looks great!

Scheduled for Spring 2023, Forza Motorsport has been remastered from the ground up to showcase next-gen Xbox Series X|S consoles. From the precision of the overhauled physics to the beauty of the cars and circuits, from the dynamic management of the day to the damage modeled on the cars and the technology of ray tracing in real time on the circuits, this edition of Forza Motorsport allows to make a real generation leap. Forza Motorsport is the most technically advanced racing game ever created.

Forza Motorsport, the next generation is here!

The trailer was created using in-game videos of the upcoming Forza Motorsports running on Xbox Series X and it’s absolutely stunning. Two videos have been unveiled, one is the game’s trailer, the other shows the real-time gameplay allowing to see the details of the Maple Valley racetrack (since the very first FM launch in 2005) carefully modeled and detailed never before with the power of the next generation.

In addition to Maple Valley, the trailer featured fan favorites Spa-Francorchamps and Laguna Seca Raceway. Also unveiled were the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, a South African racetrack making its Forza Motorsport debut, and the all-new Hakone Circuit in Japan, a whimsical, lightning-fast Grand Prix track built to embrace technically advanced, cutting-edge immersion of to demonstrate the new Forza Motorsport.

Immerse yourself in real time!

The cornerstone of Forza Motorsport is the new fully dynamic time of day system, which brings tracks to life in stunning detail and, like the weather, will be available on all tracks. Changes in the time of day alter ambient temperatures, which in turn affect track temperatures.

These changes in track temperature will affect your car’s traction just like weather events. These new simulation details add depth, drama and dynamism to the racing experience.

The environments were captured using photogrammetry and 3D laser scanned, while advanced rendering techniques bring a new level of realism to the track. Grass, rocks, 3D vegetation, sky and clouds illustrate a generational leap in beauty and detail, while Forward+ lighting and physics-based lights combine to enhance realism and motorsport immersion, enhanced by the nighttime glow of Maple’s Ferris wheel Valley is highlighted.

Improved vehicle physics

The developers have completely redesigned the pilot experience to fully harness the power of next-gen Xbox consoles. They improved the fidelity of the physics simulation by almost 48 times. Based on player feedback, Turn 10 Studios introduced new features such as tire and fuel management, multiple tire compounds and everything under the body was modeled to create the ultimate racing game.

From the box to the track, everything comes to life where advanced materials and shadows combine with ray tracing to highlight incredible details like gold thermal foil, anodized aluminum and carbon fiber. Ray tracing is particularly effective inside engines with their intricate reflections.

In Forza Motorsport, the damage sustained by the cars is reproduced right down to the detailed scratches visible on the bodywork. There are new details in the direction of damage, paint detachment from body contours, wheel abrasion and dirt deposits. Car damage is the reality of racing and has been authentically recreated in the new Forza Motorsport.

gameplay video

With Forza Motorsport gameplay video, experience the natural beauty and fall colors of Maple Valley at real speed behind the wheel of the 2018 BMW #1 M8 GTE. Powered by the Xbox Series X|S consoles, the Ray real-time On-track tracking makes everything more vivid, natural and real as cars reflect off other cars (they reflect themselves in their own mirrors, bodywork, fenders and brake discs).
