The 36-year-old actress, who was sued by her ex-husband for defamation in an American court, said that in early March 2015 she came to the actor who filmed the fifth part of the Pirates of the Caribbean saga.

But shortly after his arrival, a fight suddenly breaks out. “When we turned on the light, he started screaming,” she said. He throws bottles and cans at her, grabs her by the neck and threatens to disfigure her with a broken bottle, slams her against a wall and rips off her nightgown.

“I’m up against the wall and he’s yelling at me that he hates me, that I ruined his life,” she told the audience, unable to hold back tears.

“He said to me, ‘Fuck, I’m going to kill you'” before shoving a bottle of alcohol up her vagina.

“All I felt was this pain,” she continued, claiming to have stayed still because she didn’t know “if the bottle he (she) entered was broken.”

During that scene, she said, the 58-year-old actor cut his finger. He assures that it was his ex-wife who threw a bottle at him, which Amber Heard denies.

“I loved this man so much but it was so toxic that I couldn’t stop him from hitting me,” she explained when asked by her lawyer why she didn’t see her husband after those three days of hell had left.

The couple then decided to start couples therapy, but arguments enameled with brutality continued until she filed a domestic violence complaint in May 2016. She had dropped those charges during divorce proceedings, which concluded in early 2017.

The actress also claimed that Johnny Depp kicked her on a private plane traveling between Boston and Los Angeles while under the influence of cannabis and alcohol, and accused her of having an affair with actor James Franco, with whom she made a film in May 2014.

“He hated, hated James Franco and was already blaming me for having an affair with him,” she said of a previous film.

“He punched me in the back, nobody said anything, nobody did anything,” she said, referring to the star’s bodyguards and entourage on board the plane.

On the second day of her court hearing in Fairfax, near Washington, she went on to share how her relationship with her ex-husband had become “toxic,” despite multiple objections and interruptions from Johnny Depp’s attorneys, who had the talent to help Judge Penney anger Azcarat.

In her opinion, the idyll, born in 2009, quickly gave way to fits of jealousy towards the actor, which culminated in beatings and were fueled by the use of various drugs and alcohol.

Despite “a million promises to heal and be sober,” Johnny Depp regularly relapsed into his addiction, she explained.

The 58-year-old actor listened closely to his estranged wife, sometimes nodding slightly dismissively or whispering to his attorney.

Since the trial began, he has avoided the gaze of Amber Heard, who is due to resume testimony when the trial resumes on May 16, as much as possible.

Johnny Depp is suing his ex-wife for $50 million in damages. He accuses her of ruining her reputation and career after she claimed on a Washington Post platform in December 2018 that she suffered domestic violence in 2016, but without citing her ex-husband.

The actor, who testified for four days in late April, denies ever raising a hand against Amber Heard and insists it was she who was violent. He admitted to heavy drug and alcohol use, which he reportedly had under control most of the time.

The actress, particularly on the Justice League and Aquaman posters, countered and demanded $100 million.
