Warzone Update May 4 Patch Note: Weapon Balancing

The new Warzone update just made corrections to the armored truck as well as some assault rifles from Black Ops Cold War in favor of some Vanguard weapons. The full patch note.

Following the major update of Warzone Season 3, the developers released a new update on May 4th that fixes several ongoing issues, including bugs and glitches. Also, several popular weapons received buffs and drops.

The main weapon balance changes are nerfs to some Cold War assault rifles, as well as buffs to several Vanguard weapons to make them more competitive in Season 3.

The Cold War AK-47 just got a nerf.

Vanguard weapons have struggled to perform as well as their counterparts since their introduction into Warzone.‘ the developers said.

They explain that due to the frequent long-range duels in Caldera, weapons with low maximum damage range became ineffective: “Unfortunately, this was often the case with Vanguard guns.

As a result, various Cold War assault rifles were in the process of being nerfed and, on the other hand, Vanguard weapons were upgraded.

Weapon Customizations

Since their introduction into Warzone, Vanguard weapons have struggled to perform as well as their counterparts. This update therefore prepares the ground to solve this problem. Attack distances have only increased since switching to Caldera. More and more skirmishes take place in areas with minimal damage. As a result, weapons with a low max damage range or low min damage range have become very weak. Unfortunately, this was often the case with Vanguard guns.
