We assure you right away, no, Boulanger is not a place for selling baguettes. It is one of the giants of French online sales and specializes in technology. With the French days approaching, a strong promotional period, Boulanger is already offering very high prices on many products. Here is a selection of our specialist literature on the subject!
Boulanger and French Days: The most important things you need to know
Boulanger is one of the 6 giants of French online sales at the origin of French Days. The event is important to the industry but perhaps less well known to the general public so a little reminder is in order.
The French days were invented for this Against Amazon and its famous “Prime Days” (we can also see a reaction to the very American Black Friday). The main French e-commerce sites have joined forces to create their own promotional period.
This year is the day from Wednesday 4th to Monday 9th May, but as is so often the case with events of this kind, the bargains go a little beyond the official dates. To date, we have uncovered a significant number of strong promotions at Boulanger.
Our team, who know the flagship products of the tech market and the different price curves inside out, has mobilized to bring you a small in-house selection.
However, if you already have a specific product in mind, we invite you to browse the Boulanger website yourself! 4K TVs, soundbars, PC… it’s all there.

TCL 55C729: an award-winning 4K QLED TV ideal for the PS5 at a really crazy price at Boulanger
The 4K TV market has become extremely complex over time. Difficult to navigate, but don’t panic, at JVTECH we know a lot about it.
This TCL TV received an award at the prestigious EISA awards : It is considered the best LCD TV of 2021 – 2022. If you want better, you have to buy mini LED or OLED which cost twice the price.
- The plate QLED allows for a comfortable level of contraction and a wide range of colors
- The interface “Connected TV” by Android is extremely ergonomic
- And most importantly… this TV has a panel 120Hz and HDMI 2.1 connections
Clearly, this TCL from 55 inches (i.e. 139cm diagonal, the current standard) is perfect for next gen, PS5 like Xbox Series X as it is one of the rare screens that can send 4K 120 FPS.
With such properties we expect at least 1000€. But no, TCL is one of the Chinese giants that shines with its value for money, and it started at €699. Better yet, Boulanger adds their own -22% discount and you only have to pay €699. It’s pretty crazy.

Finally a 55 inch LG 4K OLED TV for €899
The LG 55 A1 is the entry-level model of the very high class. OLED technology is really impressive with its infinite contrasts, but it is very technical and therefore very expensive to manufacture.
In 2021, LG’s display factories were still the only ones in the world capable of producing large OLED panels. The Korean company has therefore mastered the subject particularly well and then tried to create a more accessible OLED TV than its flagship ranges reserved for the widest budgets.
The A1 was born. No 120Hz panel here, just 60Hz (which is already more than enough, on Next Gen almost no game manages to keep up 4K at 60fps well). And… that’s about the only major concession on far more expensive OLED TVs.
Starting at around €1,100, the A1 is now €899 at Boulanger. From 55-inch OLED at this price, it’s really exceptional.

Samsung Galaxy A53: A state-of-the-art 5G smartphone with a crazy price-performance ratio
We can’t believe our eyes. The Samsung Galaxy A53 has just been released at a price of €459 and Boulanger is already offering it at €399 in anticipation of the French Days. Better: If you buy the new Samsung Galaxy A53, you’re entitled to a free pair of Galaxy Buds (that’s Samsung’s AirPods, if you will).
The Galaxy A represents the mid/high end at Samsung. The concessions to the Galaxy S aren’t huge for a much softer price point.
- Beautiful battery 5000mAh
- 4 photo sensors nicely done
- 2 SIMs
- water resistance
- Smartphone powerful enough for any modern game
- registration 5G
… in short, a nice animal for its price

“S21” it should be called, this high-end smartphone from Samsung was launched in early 2022.
Why ? Quite simply because Samsung has made it a habit to offer a “Fan Edition” (that’s the meaning of FE) for its high-end smartphones. Basically, the Korean company takes consumer feedback on a product, here the S21, into account and releases an improved model.
The S21 FE is one of the best Android offerings today at absolutely every level. Recently released for €759, here at Boulanger for €699. Ah, the magic of the French days…

Samsung HW-Q800A: A highly acclaimed soundbar and not too expensive before French Days
I refrain from the journalistic “we” in order to give you my personal opinion. I recently bought a soundbar and seeing this promo makes me really regret missing it.
The Q800A is an excellent model with a nice spatiality of the sound, clear voices and powerful bass. Of course it has connected speaker options, it works with all 4K TVs but even better with Samsung TVs, and it’s Dolby Atmos compatible.
The Q800A belongs to the crème de la crème, is usually sold for around €800 (the price of very good soundbars), currently it is on sale for €499: -37%. Better yet, Boulanger is adding another house promotion, offering €10 instant rebate for every €150 of purchase. We therefore add €30 extra promo and come up with €469.
In all honesty, for a bar of this caliber it’s underwhelming.

Sony WH-1000XM4: undeniably one of the best wireless headphones in the world at a bargain price
The XM4 doesn’t have many competitors. In fact, for many tech writers, myself included, this is the best wireless headset out there.
It’s beautiful, comfortable, active noise cancellation that completely cuts you off from the world, fast charging, 38 hours of battery life, well-made speakerphone and most importantly, near-perfect sound on all counts…what can I say except that we’re close to perfection.
For similar specs, Apple launched AirPods Max at twice the price.
While almost always selling for €349, the well-known XM4 has just dropped to €308 in anticipation of French Days. Little bonus, Boulanger treats you to a 4-month Spotify Premium subscription.

Acer Nitro 5 under mining: This gaming PC is a war machine and loses 600 euros before the French Days
Boulanger is emptying his stocks of certain products…including this fighter plane.
- Screen 17 inch
- Ryzen 7 5800H
- 16GB of memory
- 1TB SSD
- WiFi 6 available
If you know a bit about it, you should have the dropping jaw. It’s very simple, it’s one of the most powerful PCs on the market. For professional use (video export, 3D software, etc.) or 4K gaming with all levels of detail at full speed, we couldn’t find it cheaper.
The RTX 3080 is a little monster even in its laptop version, the Ryzen 7 supported by 16 GB of RAM has very high computing power, the SSD is very comfortable…
Normally a PC of this caliber costs almost 2500€. Boulanger really wants to get rid of this Nitro 5 as he is offering it for only €1799.
Hurry: stocks are not expandable.
