This is how the pricing table works

After a superbly finished Find X3 Pro model launched in 2021, Oppo has done it again this year with its Find X5 Pro. An almost flawless high-end smartphone that allows the company to pass on its know-how and the experience gained over the last few years. According to our comparison, this model even stands out as the best Android smartphone to date.

The Oppo Find X5 Pro thus asserts its rights over the very built-in Galaxy S series from Samsung. It displaces the Galaxy S21 Ultra as well as the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra that is right behind it. A superiority that was also confirmed during our last duel in which the latest Samsung faced that of Oppo.

A smartphone that delivers what it promises

The Oppo Find X5 Pro has weapons like its Amoled LTPO screen that offers an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz and its 6.7-inch panel displays a WQHD + resolution (3216 x 1440 pixels). With its Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, the smartphone is frugal, even if Qualcomm’s latest high-end chip struggles a little to access its maximum performance. On the autonomy side, the Find X5 Pro packs a 5000mAh battery that allows it to last for 17 hours. An honorable duration at the very high end.

Entry with the Oppo Find X5 Pro: A premium smartphone in the continuity of the predecessor

But his strength is undoubtedly the photo. In fact, any good smartphone of this kind has to offer the best possible photographic experience, and in this game the Oppo model performs better than its direct competition. Supported by its wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle 50 megapixels, the phone offers good shots, well exposed and with excellent sharpness. The somewhat sparse telephoto lens only offers a 2x magnification without having any disadvantages. Oppo’s smartphone is a little less versatile than a Galaxy S21 Ultra or S22 Ultra, but has better image reproduction overall. So the Chinese company’s strategy seems to have paid off, helped by its recent alliance with Swedish company Hasselblad.
