In a YouTube video entitled tell my story (Telling my story) She explained in detail the events of that day, which she describes as the most terrifying of her life.
On March 10, Hailey was having lunch with her husband Justin Bieber when she began experiencing symptoms similar to those of a CVA (cerebral vascular accident).
Hailey felt an odd sensation that ran from her shoulder to her fingertips. Then she started looking at her fingers and trying to move them as they were a bit numb. When Justin asked her if she was okay, Hailey couldn’t speak and the right side of her face started to droop.

Because these are common symptoms of a stroke, the couple immediately panicked and called 911. She was rushed to the hospital as soon as possible and when she got there her symptoms had already subsided.
The doctors explained that she had a small blood clot that had migrated to her brain. Doctors couldn’t really explain the cause of the blood clot, but did cite three factors that may have contributed: Hailey had just started birth control pills, she recently had Covid, and she was on a long flight.
Normally, the heart would have been able to filter out the small clot, but when it didn’t, Hailey underwent a series of tests.

The young woman eventually discovered that she had a small hole in her heart that should have closed after she was born. This is called a PFO (patent foramen ovale) and is fairly rare. The clot therefore escaped through this hole and traveled to the brain. This caused a type of stroke called a transient ischemic attack.
Luckily, Hailey was able to undergo surgery to plug this hole in the heart, eliminating the possibility of more accidents.
She wanted to share her story to raise awareness of the symptoms needed to recognize stroke, but also to encourage people to get tested to find out if they have PFO.

This is very reassuring to his fans who have been waiting for news since March 14th when the news broke. At the time, she wrote an Instagram story to take stock of her health.
“I was having breakfast with my husband on Thursday morning when I started showing symptoms similar to a stroke and was rushed to the hospital. They found a tiny blood clot in my brain that was causing oxygen starvation, but my body cleared it on its own and I made a full recovery within hours.”
She keeps going. “Although it was one of the scariest times I have ever experienced, I am now home and doing well and I am filled with gratitude and gratitude for the fabulous doctors and nurses who took care of me! Thank you to everyone who took the time to learn about me and send me their wishes for a speedy recovery, for the support, and for the love.»
